Go behind the scenes with DivaSquad to bring the magic of the Dream Collection to life!
Months of planning went into the shoot & to bring the latest collection to life we started with a mood board for each design. We mapped out locations, found models, created the wardrobe, sourced props, found the perfect creative photographer, ideal hair/makeup & finalised the shoot schedule!
WE WERE READY!
But, whats a diva without a little bit of chaos...
As it often happens, we faced a few last minute challenges! One of our models tested positive for the Spicy Cough the day before! Don’t worry though - you’ll be seeing her in the photos of our next collection!
Then came the rain & we had planned to shoot at several locations so that dampened our dreams of shooting outdoors on day one! So instead of the magical backdrop of Hyde Park for Glass Slipper & Fantasia we created our very own mystical wonderland here, at the DivaSquad warehouse and showrooms. It was impressive how quickly our backdrop was created, but when you have the best creative squad any Diva could ask for, we weren't at all surprised at how we pulled it all together!
Our incredible and very committed photographer Novi did everything to get the perfect shot! She is scared of heights but still climbed a ladder to capture the perfect angle, Novi also waded through the icy cold water down under the Canning Bridge to get the shots you see of Diamond in the Rough DivaDolly Petite!
The DivaSquad models could not have captured the personality of each design any more brilliantly. They truly went into character & were ready for anything.
We’re all SO happy with the outcome! The end result was absolutely worth all the planning & preparation. It was so much fun and we can’t WAIT to do it all again for the next collection!
